Can children attend the tour?
For the safety of our patients and families, flu precautions are often initiated at AdventHealth Hendersonville during the fall and remain in place through early spring. When flu precautions are in place, children under 18 are not be permitted onto The Baby Place, even for tours. With this in mind, please plan to attend any tours which take place during the fall, winter, and early spring months without children.
Where does the tour begin?
The tour starts at the main entrance of the hospital. Please check in at the front desk and let them know you are there for the tour, and wait in the main lobby for the tour to begin.
I plan to attend the free childbirth classes offered at AdventHealth Hendersonville, should I still sign up for a tour?
Yes, please register for a separate tour! Tours of The Baby Place are not included with the childbirth classes. Expectant couples participating in our childbirth classes are encouraged to register and attend a tour priorto the start of the childbirth class series. With this in mind, group tours of The Baby Place are conveniently provided at 5pm on the first Monday of the class series for participants to easily attend a tour prior to the start of class. What happens if there's bad weather?
In the event of inclement weather or other outstanding circumstances, the tour will be canceled. An email will be sent to notify registrants of cancellations. Tour cancellations due to weather conditions will often follow Buncombe and or Henderson County school closings. In the event of a cancellation individuals are responsible to register for a tour at another time.
